Totally terrific Thursday night at Kingdom Rock VBS at Mountain View!! When Jesus died and came back to life (Luke 22:39–24:12) we learned that trusting God helps us stand strong.
Also tonight, Sir Valient taught us our verse for tonight :
Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. (Isaiah 26:4)
Wowsers! What a wonderful Wednesday night for VBS! Tonight we learned that Prayer helps us stand strong like when Nehemiah perseveres to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem (Nehemiah 1–6).
Tonight Swift flew in to teach the kids the Bible verse for the day :
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. (Philippians 4:6)
One last thing, the girls are now winning in our missions contest! The boys have a total of $352.93 and the girls have $352.94!! This may be close on Friday night.
What a great night tonight! We learned about how family and friends
help us stand strong and kids also learned about how Mordecai
encouraged Esther to do the right thing. (Esther 1–9)
Duke showed up to help the kids with their Bible verse for the day :
So encourage each other and build each other up. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Thanks to all the workers who have been there ready to go with smiling faces, you are doing a great job!
We were blessed to have over 135 kids tonight at VBS! Tonight we had a visit from Truman who hold us about Psalms 18:1
I love you, Lord; you are my strength. (Psalms 18:1 NLT)
Be sure to come on Tuesday night to meet Duke and learn more about how God’s Kingdom Rocks!
We will be entering the epic VBS 2013 adventure that empowers kids to stand strong. Here, God’s victorious power isn’t a fairy tale—it changes kids forever.
At Kingdom Rock VBS, kids experience God’s Word in fun and unforgettable ways! Each day, leaders reinforce one simple Bible truth–which makes it super easy for kids to remember and apply to real life!
